Tropical Surveillance and Investigations literally “exploded” into the private investigation sector in July 2003. One of the co-founders, Rocky Rodriguez, is 25-year veteran of local law enforcement whose finely tuned investigative skills bring years of knowledge and expertise to Tropical Surveillance and Investigations. Rocky’s aspirations of surrounding himself with a “dream team” of personnel have become a reality at Tropical Surveillance and Investigations where experience is second to none.

In just a few months, a dream team of investigators has been assembled which rivals any agency statewide. TSI employs six seasoned and well-trained detectives with a combined total of over 170 years of law enforcement experience. The team’s individual expertise spans a broad spectrum from undercover narcotics, homicide and robbery, missing persons, white-collar crime and cybercrime. They also specialize in wrongful death, slip and fall, product liability and all types of covert surveillance. TSI’s experience is represented from the following agencies: Tampa Police Department, Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office, U.S. Customs Service and Pasco County Sheriff’s Office.

TSI specializes in worker’s compensation fraud, nursing home abuse and product liability inquiries. These investigators possess keen interview techniques and have testified hundreds of times in court cases. Some of their cases are legendary and we can provide references if necessary.
